HO Athearn SD40-2 power chassis complete. From a brand new loco, project never completed. Mint condition like new. This is the last style blue box with all the updated design. Coupler mounting pads pre tapped for screws, updated universal joints and drive shafts, and of course the newer motor and trucks with plastic sideframes. I test ran this and inspected it and it is perfect. No cracked gears, NO wheel wear, No armature wear. stored for years in a climate controlled closet. Sorry but I do NOT have the brake and shock details for the trucks. Item will be shipped WITHOUT a box but well padded to keep shipping costs down. The entire loco is shown only for reference. You are bidding ONLY on the power CHASSIS
