Up for bid is a rare Athearn HO scale, Heavyweight Standard Baggage passenger car. This car is new in it’s original box, the box is detailed with both the Union Pacific Railroad colors and markings and the Union Pacific Employees Club inscription. Manufactured exclusively by Athearn for the Union Pacific Employees Club to commemorate their 2009 convention in Reno, Nevada. Tastefully marked by Athearn on the car with the Union Pacific Employees Club Logo and the Friend To Friend Network logo. Being one of just 200 units made for the Union Pacific Employees Club and the only Heavyweight Standard Baggage passenger car made by Athearn with the Union Pacific Railroad colors and details, this is a rare find for the collector.
