ORIGINAL - ATLANTA BRAVES , INC - STOCK CERTIFICATE DATED MARCH 24, 1966 Original Stock Certificate (not "Specimen") . Laughing Indian on top with underprint of a large baseball in the middle. Original stock certificate dated March 24, 1966 (The Milwakee Braves changed its name to the Altlanta Braves, Inc. in 1966). Rare and popular baseball certificate printed by the American Bank Note Company. This certificate is an original Atlanta Braves, Inc. stock certificate. One share - was issued on March 24, 1966. The certificate is signed by William C. Bartholomay, Chairman of the Board. Mr. Bartholomay was a Chicago businessman who led a group that bought the club when it played in Milwaukee from a Boston business owner who held it from the time the franchise played as the Boston Braves. Atlanta Braves, Inc operates as a professional baseball team in America. Atlanta Braves, Inc. was formerly known as The Milwaukee Braves and changed its name to Atlanta Braves, Inc. in 1966.
