Atlantic Beer and Ale Clock Original Antique Made in 1930s or 1940s This charming clock is a terrific find for collectors of all sorts-- vintage clocks pub decor antique advertising art deco design breweriana beer memoribillia soft drink advertising African American art Black Americana any decorator of a "Man Cave" I found t his large sheet metal clock ( 18 x 18 inches square) in an old shed in central Georgia five years ago. The owner gave me the shed and everything in it in exchange for tearing it down, which is something I do for the weathered wood. This clock was lying face down on top of a dresser, which may account for the salvation of of bright colors in the graphic. We cleaned it, but otherwise have not touched up the art in any way. There are some scratches and rust spots, but largely it ads to the charm of such an old item. The colors are bright and clear. It is clean and flat and the rust does not go through the metal anywhere. It has great art deco graphics around the clock, nice fonts, and a great message "Full of Good Cheer" -- what more could we hope for. A dignified, stately A frican A merican gentleman holds a tray of bottles and fine glassware. The original clock mechanism is completely missing.
