This auction is for 4 Atlas O scale cars. There are 2 stock cars and 2 box cars. They were made in Austria for Atlas. They are from Atlas's first foray into O scale in the late 70's - early 80's. They are for 2 rail but are compatible with running on tubular track and will hook up to Lionel couplers (manually). I ran a train of 50 ore cars behind a single moter Erie Alco set. They could be backed thru Lionel O-22 switches successfully. Atlas got out of the 2 rail O scale in the early 80's and didn't get back in it until the late 90's with 3 rail trucks and couplers. I am listing these cars as very good but they may be better. I got them with a Lionel collection I purchased and I don't really want them. I am selling these cars as-is with no returns . The starting price is only $9.99. Check the pictures. I didn't take them out of the boxes due to the low starting price. The picture of the truck-coupler is a generic picture, just showing details of it. There is a $1.50 charge added to the shipping cost. This is to cover the insurance cost which the Ebay system doesn't calculate. I will gladly combine multiple purchases, just wait until I send you an invoice.
