OK everyone, up for grabs is an authentic 1.41 ct emerald recovered from the Nuestra Senora de Atocha! Complete with COA and all the original paperwork and tags! The stone is 6 to 6.5 mm long and is a category 1C. I won't get in to the whole story of the Atocha and the recovery by Mel Fisher as I'm sure everybody knows this story (except my wife).... I bought this emerald on eBay for my wife to have a ring or perhaps a pendant made. Well, long story short, she did not care fo it. So I will not waste anymore time or money with it. Atocha emeralds generally go for $600.00 to $900.00 per CT WT. I will start bidding out well below what I paid for it. So it goes, back on the auction block! Good luck and thanks for looking!!!
