Atom 5 speed threaded freewheel, 14-17-20-24-28 marked "SGDG" (brevete sans garantie du gouvernement, patent without government guarantee) discontinued in 1968 - putting the date on this freewheel as sometime before that.Apart from the wear on the black finish, this freewheel is in good working order and nice condition. There is no indication of threading type, so I am concluding that this is French threading because;Sheldon Brown says " A French freewheel may start to thread onto an ISO/British/Italian hub but will soon bind", which is exactly what this does, and;I have a Normandy hub with Motobecane locknuts that I believe is French threaded (and also came with an Atom freewheel on it) that this does thread onto.Any questions, ask. Thanks for looking!
