I acquired this ring longtime ago and I noticed from the beginning its interesting and important appearance. The ring is crafted in 12 karat solid gold (not marked but tested by myself) and the beautiful 6 points Jewish star shaped setting is adorned with 7 rough cut diamonds of different shapes and sizes. The center diamond is placed on the top layer of the setting in a buttercup setting with prongs. The prongs around each of the 7 diamonds follow the unique shape of each stone. The star with diamonds sits 10 mm high on the finger and it has a smooth face, well polished. The band of the ring has a beautiful profile, very much resembling an Art Deco ring. This ring can be used perfectly as an engagement ring, as well as a right finger ring. It is beautiful, timeless, unique in its design and very comfortable to wear.* Size of the ring is a little bit larger than 6.25.* Weight is 3.6 grams.* Diameter of the star setting with diamonds is 13 mm, it raises 10 mm above the finger and the mounting has some openings under the star to let light go through.* An approx. total carat weight of the diamonds would be between 15 and 20 points.
