See photos. This engine wasmade in Yugoslavia by Mehano and imported by American Train and Track (AT&T) in 1968-69, to accompany the company’s set of Tri-Ang (TriAng) BURLINGTON passenger cars. The Tri-Ang cars show up with some frequency here on eBay, but I’ve seen the engine itself many fewer times. Though it is not made by Tri-Ang, it does complete the Burlington set. This copy is in unusually fine condition, call it like new or excellent-plus. Original box and original foam, which is not deteriorated. The graphics are crisp and clear and sharp. I see no blemishes in the paint, no scratches, no chips, no dings. The attached metal handrails and noserails are in good shape. Color and lettering is bright and crisp and clean. Headlight is present and works. Locomotive runs very well. I tried it out on my test track and found that it ran back and forth smoothly and evenly, not struggling, bucking or hesitating. I don’t run across too many of these engines, and I can’t remember ever encountering a better one. A beautiful mate for your TriAng/AT&T CB&Q cars. PayPal preferred.
