This beautiful piece was patented by Thomas Atterbury on April 11, 1871. It is marked on the base with the patent date. It was produced by Atterbury and Company through the history of the company until it burned down in 1901. This bottle is one of the rarest of the Atterbury pieces. It measures 11 ½ inches tall. More information and illustrations can be seen in Betty and Bill Newbound’s book, Collector’s Encyclopedia of Milk Glass, plate 3, page 18. Condition is excellent. There are just a few small nicks on the bottle opening and no other nicks, chips or cracks. No questions asked return policy. I will gladly combine shipping on multiple items to reduce costs. If you are the winning bidder, your item will be securely packed and shipped promptly. Shipping and insurance will be $14.50
