12:31 PM 01-31-2011 - I will add pictures this evening !!!!!!! You are bidding on an Audix D3 drum microphone in great condition. This is a discontinued microphone from Audix. Audix intended this mic to be used as a snare mic and guitar cab mic, showing comparable sound to the i5 microphone. This mic was used for Snare bottom micing as there are no hits or dents on the mic. It blends well with an SM57 mic. I favored this mic over the i5 because my drum setup is tight. I didn't always have room depending whether I was using another tom. It was also used for my axillary snare drum when my i5 was on the other snare. This mic was also used for live guitar cab. It represented the guitar sound really well and was primarily favored by me over the i5 and SM57. What made it great as a guitar cab mic was the fact that it was more compact then a full size dynamic microphone like the i5 and SM57. It didnt stick out 7 or 8 inches from the cab. Use a right angle xlr on this mic and your clearance issues are gone. Thank you U.S.A only. No zero Bidders. Contact me for any other information you may need.
