It is a great piece! limoges boxes are recreated in the style and using the original molds from the French town of limoges. The french artist hand paint them in the traditional paints,colors,and designs of the 18th and 19th century .Each box lid is individually fitted with a metal hinge,and embellished in side with a small painted motif,All are handsigned by the artist prior to a final firing in a small kiln God Bless the Country men fought and died for!
