1972 Mini Deisel Pick Up. Probably the only Deisel Pick Up in the World. Fantastic conversion by Watson Engineering, this car was featured in Mini World, at that time it was Left Hand Drive, the guy I purchased it from said he had spent £12k converting this car, but his wife wanted a new conservatory so it had to go, it was LHD because he worked in Holland and was taking it there, I put it back to RHD straight away. it is truly a great unique vehicle, and you will not find another, you know how prices are climbing on these Mini's so dont miss it. In honesty, it will still need a couple of jobs, all conversions do, thats a forever project, dont buy it if you dont want to tinker from time to time, in fact dont buy a Classic at all. The rev counter has never been connected, I suspect it wont ever be able to work as pick ups didnt have them, but thats up to you, the dash just came with the rev counter in it when he purchased it. Lovely Leather Seats, the steering is unbelievably light, its actualy lighter than my 2000 Cooper S and and my 73 Moke, now you can see why I purchased this gem, I'm a Mini freak, have to make room, I'm retiring and they will just go to waste, I wont ironicaly have time to drive them all as the need to be driven from time to time.
