This auction is for (2) antique silver Serving Spoons of .813 silver purity from Vienna Austria made by Thomas Dub in (1863). These Serving Spoons measure about 8.75" in length and have a combined weight of 118.3 grams or 3.80 troy ounces. They bear Austrian Empire assay marks for .813 silver from Vienna (1863) and the "TD" maker's mark of Thomas Dub. One of the spoons has a linear dent in the side of the bowl. The pair are otherwise in excellent condition.This is one of three auctions I have tonight that will feature solid Continental silver Serving Spoons. I will also host a number of auctions this weekend for some fine sterling and coin silver napkin rings. These items will all be offered in true auctions with $0.99 opening bids and no reserve.
