No returnsAustrian Pottery, not sure if we can classify these as Amphora, these were identified by an expert as the Boxer Dogs of the late Austrian Emperor of Austria. The Emperor always wore Top Hats and so this humorous depiction of The emperor's dogs with his top hats. I purchased these 30 years ago, and a expert showed me these in a book of famous porcelain (all written in German) in fact he had been identifying a Amphora Vase for me and I happened to see the photo of the dogs. Continuing to browse the antique show I came upon the same dogs as in the photo, I asked the dealer to hold them and rushed back to the dealer with the German book to look again, sure enough they were the same dogs. Went back and purchased them. The expert Amphora dealer just could not believe I had found them and as a novice of 1 year saw the photos and then found the dogs, They are fabulous, not finely made of any china but pottery of what I would call low quality and originally probably not expensive, but I believe they are exceptional. There are no chips or cracks, ask any further question Please Read Before You Bid. If you do not read these selling instructions and therefore buy something you wished you had not , or they look different from the photo and you did not EMAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID or for an extra photo, then its your fault. read more
