Mod. 1912 Austrian/Steyr Mauser bayonets are very desirable and unique bayonet and scabbard. This is one of the nicest Model 1912 Mauser/Mannlicher Bayonets that I have seen. PLEASE SEE PICTURES TO PROPERLY JUDGE THE BAYONET - GENUINE OLD BAYONETS ARE HARD TO ACCURATELY DESCRIBE. Used , but in very nice condition - does have the usual and typical age dis-coloration that genuine older bayonets have. ( Please see pictures to Properly Evaluate ) ( Approx. 100 year old) Pictured bayonet and scabbard is the one for sale. A very difficult to Find and Unique Collectable Bayonet Set at a very affordable price for a Collector's Bayonet. Great for display , collecting, investment or using as a set with a Model 1912 Mauser Rifle. It will not fit the WW11 K98 Mauser Rifle. A difficult to find Bayonet at an affordable price. Blade is marked CE over WG - other side marked Shield with a star inside - see pictures to evaluate properly. Never sharpened since leaving the factory arsenal. This is a Genuine Historic. Military surplus Bayonet Set - not some fake copy from Asia. Used , but not Abused Set. A very handsome bayonet set for display. Note: Note: The blade has not been sharpened since leaving the Gov't Arsenal. - Age discoloration is on the blade - TYPICAL OF VERY OLD BAYONETS THAT WERE USED AND NOT ARSENAL QUEENS.
