BEAUTIFUL SET OF 2 AUTHENTIC CARTIER PORCELAIN/GILT TRINKET TRAYS/PIN DISHES, NEW, BOXED Very beautiful and elegant set of 2 original porcelain trinket trays/pin dishes from one of the most famous jewellery designers in the world, French company CARTIER. The trinket trays/pin dishes are made of fine porcelain decorated in hand painted and gilt design depicting various pieces of Cartier gold jewellery surrounding the iconic red Cartier box. On each tray there is a different design. The edges are gilt and underneath the pin dishes are lined in fine red felt. Each tray is a square measuring 4.72 in x 4.72 in (12 cm x 12 cm) and 0.60 in (1.5 cm) high. They are both signed Cartier in gold letters inside, as well as signed with Cartier, Made in France and registration mark on the reverse of each tray. The set is NEW, has never been used, and it is in it's ORIGINAL BOX, with ORIGINAL CARD attached. Any marks on the photographs are specks from the camera and not marks on the trays. I bought this set about 5 years ago and never used it. As far as I know Cartier doesn't make those trinket trays or even porcelain ashtrays (now they are wooden ones) any more. They would make a wonderful present for an elegant lady's home to be used to remove jewellery at night or to place other trinkets, or as decorative pin dishes in a drawing room. read more
