This is an authentic, original, 1928 Remington calendar! NOT A REPRODUCTION!! The calendar was printed in 1927 for sale for the 1928 calendar year. The title of the picture is "Old Boy! We have the winning combination for tomorrow". Please use the zoom feature on the pics to see that there are not any flaws in the picture and very few on the overall item. This is in remarkable condition, especially for being 84 years old! The calendar has all twelve months, complete border, original staples, and even has the piece of wood at the bottom (used to help weight the bottom down, to keep it from blowing in the wind so much), which is usually missing in other original pieces. The picture is absolutly beautiful color and clarity, a real piece of art! The problems that this item has are few, but are as follows - (pics show all of these problems) - There is a stain at the bottom left of the calendar months pages that is the worst on January but gets smaller and smaller in February, March, and April. I can't see anything of the stain on the remaining months. The yellowing is bad on January, as well, but gets better (not as yellow) as the months progress. Actually, February is only slightly yellowed, and the rest of the months just gets brighter! On the back side of the December page is some kind of ???,, almost looks like it could have been a squashed bug! On the back page (behind Dec.) is also some kind of stains - doesn't look like the bug though! At the top of the calendar, the piece of metal has torn loose from the paper for an area of about 3 inches and the metal tab, that was used to hang the calendar, has been broke. The back of the calendar has quite a few stains, of a couple different kinds. I have not seen any other calendars this complete, or in this good of condition, offered for sale! This is the best chance for you to have this added to your collection! I have seen other 1928 Remington calendars, that were missing months pages, sell for $487.00 - $676.00. I am to understand that the value of these calendars are from $600.00 - $1,200.00. I encourage you to research this yourself, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask! I am not an expert, but will do my best to answer to the best of my knowledge. I assure you that I will package this item extremely well to prevent any possible damage during shipping, but because of this, the weight of the package will be more, which will make the cost of shipping be more. ATTENTION -- LET IT BE KNOWN - After recieving several comments about this item NOT being authentic, I can only say that I, myself, only know the circumstances of how I came into possession of this item and can't say that it's not authentic - I don't know as much about this as some of you do though so, I am letting the viewers decide for themselves.
