A nice group of broken Paleo and Early Archaic projectile points found in Sumter and Clarendon Counties of South Carolina.These are all personal finds I picked up in the 90's walking fields along the Black River Swamp off of Brewington Rd.between Hwy.378 to I-95 and down to Hwy.301. these points are made from Rhyolite,Ortho Quartzite and Chert,which are common materials used throughout the Piedmont region. Unfortunately these points have become hard to find these days due to over hunting and primarily the "no till" method of farming practiced today.
