These were mine and, unfortunately, not knowing there value when I was a kid in 1952, I took out the buttons.They were purchased directly from Steiff in 1952 while we were living in England and traveling around Europe.That is why they are priced so reasonably. Please look at pictures to see the slight wear. Monkey is moreworn than the bear because the monkey was my favorite. Both have movable legs and arms and are theSteiff fur. Adorable!
