Authentic, mission flown, USAF (SAC) 393rd Bomb Squadron (M) patch. FB-111A era. Pease A.F.B., NH. 509th Bomb Wing. Owned and flown by the only man in the USAF to have commanded two FB-111A squadrons (393rd and 715th)....see pic above. Details are available to the buyer. The 393rd is the only squadron, world wide, authorized to wear a mushroom cloud as part of their unit insignia as they (as part of the 509th Composite Group) dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. The 393rd now flies the B-2 out of Whiteman AFB. Patch is in used but serviceable condition.
