This is a beautiful AUTHENTIC Nantucket Lightship Basket Purse with a color scrimshaw plaque, entirely hand-made of natural rattan reed and cane basket weaving materials with lid, hardwood base, leather braid strap and basket rims. It was purchased in 1998 and kept in a display hutch. It was never used and is in exquisite condition.
