Up for bid is a virtually new Spaten Franziskaner Sandwich Style Message Board like you have seen just outside of restaurants and brew houses in Germany. (See a photo at: /gallery/?imageid=794014 ) I say virtually new, because I used it out in front of our house once to promote a tag and another time to let people know w my son's baptism party was. But, the chalk washes right off the blackboard. I purchased this directly from the Spaten Breau Headquarters in Germany when I was once collecting all sorts of breweriana. Both sides measure 22" wide and 47" tall. It stands at 45" tall and spreads to 27" at the base (22" x 27"). It is made of durable, weather-proof black plexi, and when open it is secured by a metal locking mechanism. A number of people have been buying up my beer collectibles to give their beer parties a taste of authenicity. This sign would make for an excellent finishing touch. As luck would have it, I do have a box in which to ship this, and I take great pride in packaging things so that they do not get damaged. Buy this for your spouse or significant other, write Merry Christmas on it in red, white, and green chalk and put it next to the tree as an extra surpise on Christmas morning!
