This r usticle f rom the Titanic 's famous "Big Piece", measures, 5/8" wide X 1/2" high. "Titanic: The Experience" was heldin Atlantic City from May 29, 1999 through September 7, 1999. It featuredartifacts recovered from the Titanic's wreck site. The famous "Big Piece" of the Titanic was on display there, on the sand next to the Boardwalk, in front of the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. We went to see the display and a few days later, when they were moving the Big Piece we went back to watch. These photos were taken when they moved the Big Piece onto the truck. (see photos of th e Big Piece as it was being moved that day.) After they moved it away, we found several pieces of rusted metal that had been broken off of the Big Piece. We picked them up and have kept them ever since. This is a true rusticle from the Titanic. This is from my Father's collection. He collected items of this sort for fifty years.
