Lord of the Rings master sword prop builder John Howe has orchestrated the creation of Anduril to honor this most powerful sword in Middle-earth . Combining the might and sheen of 420 stainless steel with antiqued silver-plated finishing and gorgeous 24k gold detail, the extraordinary blade, 52 7/8âe long, includes authentic Eregion and Sindarin runes and symbols inscribed upon the pommel and blade. Blade Length: 40-5/8 Blade Thickness: 1/4" Handle: Solid metal crossguard and pommel with an antique silver plated finish and twenty-four karat gold plated fittings. The pommel is inscribed with runes and the grip is wrapped in genuine leather. The runes say: "Nányë Andúril i né Narsil i macil Elendilo. Lercuvanten i máli Mordórëo." This translates into: "I am Anduril who was Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the thralls of Mordor flee me." Plaque: 11-3/4" x 23" x 3/4" wood, silkscreened symbols of the Kingdom of Gondor.
