Postage to UK only PayPal payments only All of our items have been kindly donated to Barnsley Hospice and described to the best of our ability. Wherever possible we are happy to combine postage cost when you buy two or more items from us. (Items can be collected with prior arrangement). Volunteer limitations mean that we are only able to post on Wednesdays and Thursdays, we apologize in advance if this causes any inconvenience. Any queries/questions will only be responded to between 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Barnsley Hospice is a charity that provides specialist palliative care and support to hundreds of local people and their families each year. Our main priority is to achieve the best possible quality of life for patients with a life limiting illness, whilst supporting their families, during the period of illness and bereavement. As a specialist care provider, the range of skills we offer include, pain and symptom management, emotional support and end of life care. We are a charity - our care is free for patients but not free to provide - it costs over £9,000 a day to run the hospice. We gratefully receive £1.6m from the NHS each year, but have to raise over an additional £2m to stay open.
