Authentic Vintage GOLDEN MICROPHONE Award TV RADIO from 1990 This is an original "Golden Mic" award from Hollywood, CA, awarded to KCBS-TV in 1990 for Best Serious Feature Reporting for "Stunt Deaths", by the Radio& TV News Assoc of So. California. Condition: The condition is fair. It could use some renovation work to bring it back to life. The wood needs to be re-varnished probably, but rather than ruin it, I thought I would leave it original, like most collectors prefer. If something is done, they want to document its restoration for themselves, so they know what they have is real, and this one truly is a piece of history, rarely let out of a trophy case somewhere or a museum. The gold on the golden globe and mic seems to be about perfect. I couldn't find any flaws in the gold plating. Email me if interested and you want additonal high resolution photos.
