Excellent Condition Auto-Lite Carbide Lamp With Hook Mount & Soldered Cap Braces Reproduced Auto-Lite Carbide Lamp Box (Made from the original in my collection) & Auto-Lite "Finer Miner Poster" A great way to start your collection or to increase your existing collection! One Classic Auto-Lite Carbide Cap Lamp This lamp is in Excellent Condition overall and will display very nicely ... One Auto-Lite carbide cap lamp with hook mount for miners' caps . Auto-Lite carbide lamp box reproduced from the original in my collection & a great 8.5x11 Auto-Lite poster, suitable for framing. Auto-Lite cap lamp: This is a great little lamp and overall The brass finish on the lamp is in excellent condition with no dings/dents from use underground in the coal mines. As the images will show this lamp is in fine shape with a great patina and will display very nicely in your collection. Any tarnish can easily be polished out if desired.This the earlier style with soldered cap braces. The images below will show you all angles of the lamp The 2.5" reflector is is in Excellent condition overall , & still has most all of it's great shine and reflectivity. Thehook & soldered cap braces are in Excellent condition. The felt is NEW .The felt retainer is in Excellent Condition. The felt spacer is in Excellent condition. The rubber gasket is NEW . The bottom is in Very Good condition with typical denting from where the miner tapped the base in the mine to loosen the spent carbide before adding a new charge. The flint striker is complete and spins/sparks beautifully. The tip is in Excellent condition & not clogged.. This lamp is very clean both inside & out.This lamp also has the original "Red Bumper Grip". Care should be taken to keep it in current condition. This auction also includes a great Rarer Auto-Lite Sportsman's Special carbide lamp box, painstakingly made from the original in my collection. This will display very nicely alongside the lamp. This auction also includes a very nice Auto-Lite "Finer Miner" poster. This poster is 8.5"x11", suitable for framing and is pictured below.
