I'm offering my 100% authentic and very scarce signature of World War II Medal of Honor recipient First Sgt. Leonard A. Funk, USA (1916-1992). Funk was awarded the MOH for heroism during actions near Holzheim, Belgium on 29 JAN 45. In addition to the MOH Funk was also awarded the DSC, Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart. Funk is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. CANADIAN BIDDERS: Feel free to bid! Anything won can be paid for and held until your postal workers are back on the job. This is a signed 1979-dated FDC out of my personal collection. It is in excellent condition. Personally and nicely inscribed by Funk in black pen. Envelope shows toning and age. Please ask questions before bidding and look at the photos. I'm offering this piece "as is", and solely for the scarcity of the signature, not the condition of the cover. In keeping with a true auction scenario there will be no returns. Will begin auction at a fair price without a reserve and let the bidding set the value. PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY : Payment is required within 3 days of auction close. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! I'm offering most of these pieces out of necessity and cannot wait weeks on end before being paid. Shipping will be just $3 within the USA. I will combine shipping on items won within 7 days of your earliest won item. If you want to protect your investment read more
