This is a 1977 Letter from Ronald Reagan. It is a type written letter to Nini Martin ( Grand daughter of M.H.deYoung founder of San Francisco Chronicle and deYoung Museum) It is a letter of condolence for Charly. Who that is i can only guess.The letter is signed Ron and is in very good condition. Nini Tobin Martin , a granddaughter of one of The Chronicle's founders, M.H. de Young , and a powerful force within her socially prominent family, died Monday at her Hillsborough home after a stroke. She was 93.Nini Tobin was born in 1914 in San Francisco, the daughter of Hibernia Bank President J.O. Tobin and Constance de Young Tobin , the daughter of de Young. At a young age, she picked up Nini as a nickname because her sister could not pronounce her given name, Consuelo. She was educated at Dominican Convent in San Rafael and at schools in France, Germany and Italy. Prior to the outbreak of World War II, Nini Tobin returned to San Francisco from abroad and performed as a cabaret singer at the Top of the Mark, the Clift and Palace hotels.
