There is no shortage of payphones on Ebay. You can choose one that is made with 95% replica parts, or dare I say.....Plastic! Beware of the Ebay deal.........Some deal when it arrives smelling like mold, cigarettes and it doesn't work either. What there is a shortage of are really nice payphones that are refurbished, a great warranty, service, ease of contact and is actually a real payphone from the streets in the US. So, with that in mind...........Take a look at this! Attention to details and quality, is what goes into EVERY phone I offer. This one is done with the red top and a classic COCA COLA COMPANY ad campaign from the 50's. One of the most successful for them and still part of the verbiage people use when they think about soda. The top is red, but it is not obnoxious or too much. It balances well with the vintage sign colour. Looks really great in person! The phone is over 50 years old. The top sign is copied and sized down on heavy card stock for a great look. The phone is original with the exception of the network. I also added an internal ringer for a great vintage sound when someone calls you. The reception and transmission is crystal clear with a vintage feel. The network matches the handset to allow clear communication. It makes all of the dings and gong sounds you expect when you deposit the coins, as indicated in the short video, included in this listing. This phone was taken out of service in the mid 1960's from the Los Angeles basin. The phone was dismantled completely, bead blasting the old paint away, then repainted and baked in an oven. The other parts have been cleaned, sanitized, re-chromed as needed or replaced with genuine parts, with the exception of the network. The dial has been calibrated and lubricated to AE specs so it dials and returns perfectly. What is included with this one........... 1. It comes with the keys to the upper housing and the vault door. 2. An 10 foot long modular cord that can easily be replaced later should it become damaged. 3. Hardware to mount the phone onto drywall or wood, A Full size template , and 2 felt pads if you choose a counter or table top display. 4. Full instructions with warranty. 5.
