StunningAvantgarde “TITANIC ICEBERG” Solid Rock Crystal Ring, Modernist, 1970’s, 31.6 g Huge and VERY extravagant ring, probably dating from the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. This is quite an amazing piece of jewellery, with a stunning shape and design, made completely of clear, sparkling rock crystal. The ring is smooth and solid, steeply rising up to form an incredibly facetted “ Titanic Iceberg” with a clear, very interesting and naturalistic design, which reflects the light wonderfully. The “iceberg” tips have a rough and craggy appearance, resembling freshly chipped ice, although they are smooth to the touch. A fantastic and very stylish ring (but perhaps not quite suitable for the faint hearted ;) for special events in the coming summer months, which would look incredible worn either with an elegant evening dress or even vintage jeans and a simple T -shirt! This seems to be a rare and quite unique designer piece - excellently crafted and detailed work with a nice substantial weight. It would be a wonderful and unusual gift and also a fantastic addition to a vintage collection!
