Classic SILVER AGE THE AVENGERS #53 (1968). Folks it really doesn't get much better than this. JOHN BUSCEMA, WHO BEHIND KIRBY, is one of the best illustrators of women and the athlete. Each figure looks like its moving despite the two dimensional restriction. In this issue the Avengers go toe to toe with the X-men. A classic cover!! A MUST FOR ANY SERIOUS COLLECTOR IN ANY CONDITION. The stories from this era are simply fabulous. The stories are simple with a defining message, GOOD WINS OVER BAD. Times were simpler and so were the comics . An affordable book in NM condition; Please note the scans. Only some minor flaws bringing this book down from ultra high grade: slight impact dent on spine and top edge.THE EDGES ARE PRISTINE AND THE CORNERS WILL POKE YOUR EYES OUT.
