This is a Huge size dagger of Arabic origin from around late 1800s early 1900s period, mounted with a large double-edged blade of distinctive form, measuring 14" in length and impressive 2-5/16" at the widest point, both edges are exceptionally sharp and the blade is ready for any sort of action from thrusting to being used as a hatchet or short sword, very dangerous chunk of steel indeed and the prolonged tip of the blade will go in to anything like in to butter, some scattered light patina and few pitted moments are evident throughout, Excellent condition otherwise. Hilt of carved wood with silver-wired grip, decorative silver plaques and beautiful large silver pommel, all intact and solid.
