Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Limoges France hand painted porcelain "Gold and Black Umbrella" trinket or pill box. The box has a beautiful hand painted floral design with vibrant coloration on the lid along with a gilt decorated handle. The bottom half has a gilt embossed textured design alternating panels with black. The box has a decorative metal band and intricate flower petal clasp. The interior of the box is signed "Limoges France, Peint Main" along with the artist's initials. This fabulous little box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Original retail $177.95. Would make an excellent addition to any Limoges or trinket box collection. Measures 2 5/8" in length and 1" in width.
