Tonight we have up for auction AN ORIGINAL 1940's -1950's FLYING "A" SERVICE PINBACK.......THIS CREAM AND ORANGE COLORED PINBACK MEASURES 1 1/2" AND FEATURES AN ORANGE BAND THAT HAS GASOLINE, MOTOR OIL, AND LUBRICANTS PRINTED ON IT...... THE SIDE OF THE PINBACK IS ALSO STAMPED WITH.... INLAND TIDEWATER OIL CO. I've seen several repo Flying A Buttons buttons on E-Bay, but those pieces are smaller and have a plain orange band without the words, MOTOR OIL, LUBRICANTS, and GASOLINE written on the band ...... But this is NO REPO, This is the same button worn by Flying A Dealers & asscociates years ago, and this button is in great shape, although t is some rusting on the rear from age, but this button would make a great addition to any Flying A Collection or would make a perfect stocking stuffer at Christmas time.......
