This is an Awesome Chrome Automatic Electric 3-slot payphone that was purchased at an estate sale a while back. This is the real thing and not a reproduction! It works great! You can dial out and answer incoming calls. It does have a ringer to let you know of an incoming call. It ihas a modular plug on it and is ready to use when it arrives! The sound quality is good and the dial works as it should. It still makes all the dings and gong sounds when you drop in the coins, but no coins are needed for you to make a call. It comes with the coin box and lid assembly. The chrome shows minimal wear for it's many decades of use and is mirror bright and in overall very good to excellent condition. It also has the rubber feet added to make it a free standing phone without marring the furniture. These were used on cafe counters and similar places where the client didn't want to mount it on the wall. These can be easily removed if you want to. It has the lock and key on the upper housing and the original chrome metal vault door with the 10-L lock. The lock has been re-keyed by a professional locksmith and works fine. The coin return,finger wheel,receiver cradle and the center instruction card frame are also chrome. This would make an excellent gift to use in your home or office, game room, bar or shop!
