From my personal vintage jewelry collection:Up for auction is this absolutely FABULOUS Art Deco design Weiss bracelet. The gorgeous rhinestones consist of 2 sizes of elegant emerald-cut purple stones, fairly large, and also smaller pale lavender baguettes and purple rounds. The centerpiece reminds me of a stained-glass window. All stones appear faceted and prong-set in lovely gold-toned metal. This piece is in excellent condition, created in a 3-dimensional design. I hope my photos bring out just some of its vintage beauty. The design is one used infrequently by Weiss, and not always easy to find, because we love these pieces, and hang onto them for quite awhile. The classic purple/lavender colors are beautiful and very desirable. The more I learn about this versatile designer, the more I am continually surprised and impressed. This design has become a favorite of mine, quite intricate and amazing, given the level of detail.The bracelet is slightly arched w the large centerpiece is located. The centerpiece itself is an unusual design element for Weiss in this particular style. The bracelet is signed on the back of the centerpiece, and also on the back of the clasp.
