You are bidding on a HIGH-QUALITY REPRINT of the manual entitled "B-17G Field Service Manual" 1944, over 600 pages, more than 100 in full-color. This manual was written by Boeing with step-by-step instructions on the diagnosis and maintenance of the B-17G "Flying Fortress" WWII-vintage medium bomber. Chapters include Fortress Facts, On the Line, In the Air, Useful Data. The first chapter has 19 chapters on detailed parts of the plane, such as Propellers, Hydraulic System, Armament, Radio, Instruments, and more. This copy was scanned at high quality (300 lpm) from a very good quality original. All the pages have been hand-edited in Adobe Photoshop to remove any residual marks or stains. Special care has been taken with the half-tone images to get the full depth and quality of the original. Manual is printed on 24 lb paper and comb-bound. All the color pages have been printed in full color on 28 lb paper. This is NOT an original manual but a modern printed copy from a high-quality scan of an original manual that was in great condition to start with. The original manual was in 5"x7" format. I have reprinted it magnified to fit on 8.5x11 paper. Due to the weight of the paper I print it on, it is almost 2" thick. This is a massive book. Note that this reprint does NOT have a leather cover like the original manual has. I have no way of read more
