Onoffer is a gold third degree jewel in good condition. The top bar is Base Metal and is engraved 1st Deg 2 Feb 1926 The bottom bar is also Base Metal and is engraved 2nd Deg 4 Dec 1933 The pendant is inscribed - This Order of Merit and honour of Knighthood was conferred upon Bro. Albert G. Jarvis C.P. by the Ye Barum Lodge No. 3029 7 Nov 1938 As a mark of appreciation for services in the cause of Buffaloism and their regard for him as a man and a brother. All enamelling appears intact. Manufactured by Charles Usher and bears the nine carat gold hallmarks of Chester for 1938. It comes complete with fixing pin and in its own box (not original).
