PHENOMINAL Colorful Compressed Round Petrified Wood DESCRIPTION: This compressed round is gorgeous. Although found in Utah, it reminds me of the gorgeous Hubbard Basin and Cherry Creek petrified wood in shape and beauty. Both sides are polished to a beautiful finish. Visible heart. The color combinations, patterns, grain and movement of this piece are simply wonderful. Coloring: Swirls and stripes of coloring create a beautiful display on top and bottom of the piece. The primary colors are dark browns, it is enhanced by it sprays and swirls of creamy white, splashes of rust, cream and brown with small white crystal inclusions. The outside has been left natural and rough to display it's rugged bark like texture. The bark itself is gorgeous, primarily tan and ' peach', with dark, rusty-brown paint-like stripes. Very pretty texture and interesting shapes in the bark. POLISH : Top and bottom have been polished to bring out beautiful colors, stripes, swirls and patterns of this piece. PREPERATI ON : The piece has been thoroughly washed; then contour polished by hand to obtain its wonderful look.
