Vintage 3pc C.B.G. Mignot Lead Toy Soldier Box Set - Foreign Calvary - #218B MAKER I'm not an expert on vintage toys, nevertheless these were tagged when purchased in a Box-Lot auction several years ago. According to the markings and tags, these extraordinary pieces were produced and distributed by the C.B.G. Mignot Company. VINTAGE c. 1960s (Perhaps older, but again I am not an expert). DESIGN Tag attached to the soldiers list these as being Style # 218 B w/ an original P-Tag value of $65.00 - I aquired these at a Box-Lot Auction several years ago and am now downsizing. FRAGILE Lead construction w/ beautiful handpainting/enamel work. I know these are a foreign calvary, but I do not know what country. Yes, that is their original box as far as I can tell. Feel free to ask questions. MARKS As far as I can tell, all hallmarks are present, but I did not remove the pieces from their wire fasteners to ensure that each piece was marked (They appear quite fragile, I don't want to handle them anymore than necessary). MEASUREMENTS On average, toy soldiers are 3" at longest points x 3" high - Naturally soldier in the center measures longer as he is carrying the flag from his country-of-origin.
