You are bidding on a B&O RAILROAD ADLAKE KERO LANTERN. This lantern was never used on the railroad, it was a gift to my grandfather (who was an engineer on the B&O), from a man who rode to work with him, who worked in the supply house. It was given to him around the early 1960's. On the top is written: "ADLAKE B&O RR KERO". On the botton of the lantern is written: "ADLAKE - KERO 1.62 under that in the middle is: "U.S.A. CANADA ".And under that is: "PATENTED". T is a quarter size dent on the bottom. Written on the metal part that holds the wick, is written: "ADLAKE 300". This lantern would be a nice piece to add to any RAILROAD COLLECTION. We (mother/daughter)are just getting started as sellers & are committed to providing good service & keeping every buyer happy.
