This Babe Ruth signed miniature Louisville Slugger bat is a rare 16 inch bat in good condition. Teams would give away the souvenir miniature bats to young fans who watched Babe Ruth play at a baseball game. Babe Ruth played for the Boston Red Sox from 1914-1919, the New York Yankees 1920-1934, and the Boston Braves in 1935. The bat is 16" long and has the signature at the end for "George Babe Ruth". The middle of the bat reads: "Hillerich & Bradsby Co. 40, Louisville Slugger, Louisville, KY". Babe's signature engraving on the bat was not trademarked. This Babe Ruth bat was discovered in grandma's attic. There are a couple of tiny dings which give the bat character. Our ebay price includes free shipping to USA buyers.
