This auction is for a complete original issue of the Manchester N. H. Union newspaper dated April 17, 1935. The sports page of this vintage newspaper has a large photo of Babe Ruth as he makes his first appearance as a Boston Brave. The headline at the top of the page says, " BABE THRILLS 25,000 AS BRAVES BEAT GIANTS." The Babe hit his first home run as a Boston Brave in the first game of the season. Also on the page is a photo of boxer James J. Braddock. This newspaper is 17"x 21" and is in excellent condition. Please see photos for more info. Thanks.
