This auction is for 2 pieces of Babylon 5: Into the Fire collectibles made by Sierra OnLine in the late 90's: One (1) Babylon 5 Lenticular MousePad featuring the proposed box art from the Into the Fire computer game One (2) Babylon 5 Watch with leather strap, featuring a Shadow vessel on the face The mouse pad features a lenticular image, which animates as you tilt the mousepad.The watch is manufactured by the Europa Watch Company, and features quartz movement and a genuine leather strap. Read on for a little bit of history behind these great items: In 1997, Sierra OnLine (now known as Vivendi Universal Games) announced Babylon 5: Into the Fire , a 3D space combat game based on the Hugo award-winning sci-fi series created by J. Michael Straczynski. Developed by Sierra's Yosemite Entertainment division, the game was, at the time, revolutionary. Allowing the player to rise up through the ranks of Earthforce in the role of pilot and -- eventually -- capital ship commander, the game's story was written under the approval of JMS himself, and featured cut scenes filmed on the real Babylon 5 sets with the original cast, including Bruce Boxleitner, Mira Furlan, Jerry Doyle and more.
