The item you are bidding is a Bach Stradivarius Model 37 ML Trumpet. The serial number listed on the trumpet is 134955, which would put its manufacture year in the mid- to late-70's. I used this trumpet all through my high school years, and treated it like it was my own child. As you can see from the photos, this is an absolutely beautiful instrument, and is in very good condition. There are only minor imperfections in the body; a few very small dings in the bell, and another small ding on the top of the trumpet about 2 inches in front of the keys (you can faintly make this out in the photos). There is some slight tarnishing around the slide/finger rings, but no major discoloration. All slides and valves work beautifully when greased. Also included are 2 mouthpieces (a 3C and a 5A, both Vincent Bach), 3 mutes (as shown in the photos; a straight mute, a cup mute (has a name scratched on the front and also written on the corks) and a plunger head), a mouthpiece brush, some valve oil and the original case. The case shows a little wear, but is still fully functional (as you can see in the photos, the leather cover on the handle is torn, but the handle itself is metal....this could be glued down, if desired).
