BAD RELIGION Into Unknown LP KBD Rare Punk NOFX General Info Here is the BR record everyone wants. Bad Religion meets Journey in space. Cover is still in shrink and has a promo hole in the top right corner. There is no ring wear at all on either the front or back of the album. I dont see any creasing either. Their is some minor wear where you put the album in. The record has some scuffing on both sides. No real scratches that I can see. I did listen to the whole album today and it sounded great. No popping or skipping at all. Just some minor surface noise between songs. Labels are clean. Not a bootleg as those have the blue cover. I would rate the cover and record both VG+. Also includes the order sheet and lyric insert. Some more info below. MATRICES: SIDE 1: L-14125 EPI-BRLP-2A SIDE 2: L-14125-X EPI-BRLP-2B Into the Unknown is the second album by Bad Religion, which was released in 1983. The album was a major change from their previous style, delving into progressive rock heavy in keyboards, though it wasn't at all popular as fans at the time wanted a hardcore punk album. When the band released the 1991 compilation album 80-85, a collection of recordings before their third album Suffer, Into the Unknown was not part of the compilation, also partly due to the band changing their style. The album was followed up by the 1985 EP Back to the Known, which, as the title implies, was a return to Bad Religion's punk roots. There are many rumors are about this record. The album is widely reputed to have been a major factor in their 1984 breakup as the recording sessions were riddled with discord. Drummer Pete Finestone and bass player Jay Bentley left during the recording of the first song. It’s never been released on CD! 10.000 copies have been pressed and just some of them have been sold back in 1983. Rumors say all remaining copies have been destroyed. Truth is that most of them went back to the Epitaph warehouse and have been sold to fans by Mr Brett's girlfriend over the years. She just kept a rest of 300. Track listing Side one No. 1. "…You Give Up" Graffin 3:37 Goldmine Standards Very Good Plus (VG+) A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if not for a couple things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable. Records will be shipped in a LP cardboard mailer with stiffner and bubblewrap. Older records will be shipped outside the album to prevent seam splits. Most newer records dont need to this.
