You're Not So Tough", 1940 Realart drama, starred the Dead End Kids (Huntz Hall 1920-1999), the Little Tough Guys and Nan Grey (1918-1993). Directed by Joe May. The Dead End Kids, later to become the East Side Kids and eventually the Bowery Boys, were the '30's wisecracking, tough-talking young hoodlum screen team. Huntz Hall, the dumbbell and sidekick of the gang's leader, Leo Gorcey, made over 25 films. Gabe Dell, another member of the gang eventually moved on to TV w in a long running stint on the Steve Allen Show, he was the guy with his index finger upraised and quoted "Why Not?" (Guess you had to be t The Little Tough Guys were another N. Y. gang of slum boys. Nan Grey, blonde leading lady of the '30's (mostly in routine "B" productions) married singer Frankie Laine in 1950. This 1-sheet poster is NM+, because of a few marginal pinholes.
