This is probably the definitive work on the life of the founder of the Boy Scouts, Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell of Gilwell. It was written by a friend of his, William "Green Bar Bill" Hillcourt, with Olave, Lady Baden-Powell, Lord Baden-Powell's wife. This book is a 1st American Edition, printed in 1964 by G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York. Really good book about the early life of Baden-Powell as a young man in the military, and then as the founder of the Boy Scout movement.
